Anna, originally from Baltimore MD, and has been based in New York City since 2014. She graduated from George Mason University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance and spent two summers at the American Dance Festival. At the festival, she was accepted to perform the work of Merce Cunningham under the direction of Andrea Weber, and to understudy in a new work by Twyla Tharp. She has learned and performed masterworks by Karen Reedy, Martha Graham, Jim Lepore, Jacqulyn Buglisi, Mark Dendy, Robert Battle, and Mark Morris. Anna also had the pleasure to intern at Dance/USA, complete a fellowship with Gibney Dance, and serve as a teaching artist with Artists Striving to End Poverty. She does project based work with J CHEN PROJECT and is a member of SeaLegs Dance with whom she performed in Sri Lanka in early 2016. Anna is thrilled to join Jessica Lewis Arts as a dancer and educator and is grateful to help bring the company's vision to life.
